Lucy was as her owner said “A hot mess!” She was badly matted with huge tight clumps all through her coat. She had massive clumps under her tail and back leg area. I could have easily recommended a full lion clip for this girl but this time of year I prefer to keep cats in full coat if at all possible to help keep them warm.
Lucy received a full belly shave, sanitary clip, thorough degreasing and clarifying bath using professional cat safe grooming products, and then was completely blown dry using a high velocity dryer to separate and straighten the coat. Once dry I was able to carefully de-mat the remaining coat and tail.
